Sandals and Beaches Resorts Offers Another Option for Travel Agent Bookings through VAX Vacation Access
MILWAUKEE, WI - February 15, 2005 - Trisept Solutions, the leading provider of Web-based leisure travel distribution technology, just unveiled its new VAX VacationAccess API (application program interface) technology
The API connection allows tour operators and suppliers to distribute their leisure products utilizing their in-house technology through the VAX VacationAccess platform. Tour operators manage their own rate, product and booking information with their in-house technology, while distributing product via the breadth of VAX VacationAccess sites including Amadeus AgentNet, Sabre Vacations and Vacation.com.
Sandals and Beaches Resorts, the Caribbean's #1 Ultra All-Inclusive Luxury Resorts, is the first to take advantage of Trisept's new VAX VacationAccess API technology by offering travel agents who use VAX Vacation Access the option to book their clients' vacations directly on the system. Booking on VAX Vacation Access will enable travel agents to check pricing and real-time availability, as well as complete the transaction online, with a confirmation number.
