Trisept Solutions Delivers First-‐Ever Integrated Research, Engagement And Booking Solution to Support Travel Agent Business Needs
Platform Supported by Innovative Relationship With WayBlazer, Leveraging IBM Watson™ Technology
Trisept Solutions announced today the release of Xcelerator, a modern travel technology that seamlessly integrates the functions leisure travel agents need to serve their customers and run their businesses on one secure platform. Through a unique affiliation with WayBlazer, Xcelerator will leverage IBM Watson’s cognitive search technology in the first collaboration of its kind in the travel industry, empowering agents with the tools they need to provide highly personalized vacation recommendations to their clients.
Trisept Solutions is a leading-edge travel technology firm that developed and operates VAX VacationAccess, the premiere leisure agent research, sales and transaction portal. More than 70,000 travel agents use VAX; by adding on Xcelerator, agents now have access to a powerful tool to expand their expertise and simplify their business operations.
“Without a doubt, this groundbreaking desktop and tablet solution will change how travel agents do business. Xcelerator provides a comprehensive set of tools to simplify their work, be more productive and engage with their customers,” says John Ische, president of Trisept Solutions. “Xcelerator puts the power of travel vacation planning back in the hands of experts and out of the hands of a faceless website.”
Xcelerator is unlike any other product currently in market. It integrates all the functionality that a leisure travel agent needs on a daily basis—business management and customer engagement along with connection to industry-leading suppliers. The system will enable agents to organize, automate and synchronize sales, marketing and customer services on an easy-to-use dashboard accessible on desktops and tablet devices.
In February 2016, Xcelerator will include research and book functionality powered by IBM Watson, accessed through travel search and discovery company WayBlazer. Agents will have access to a wide variety of land-based vacations, cruise sailings, river cruises and escorted tour itineraries across the globe, along with curated preferences and booking capabilities to deliver unique experiences for their customers’ vacations.
“We understand leisure travel agents better than any other travel technology company and are committed to their success,” says Bill La Macchia, chairman of Trisept Solutions. “That’s why we are making an unprecedented commitment and investment in technology to ensure agents’ success with Xcelerator and our game-changing relationship with WayBlazer.”
Xcelerator will launch on November 30, 2015 at no cost to agents. Beginning in February 2016, when Xcelerator rolls out research and booking capabilities with advanced and integrated CRM functions, introductory pricing will be $20 per month or $200 per year for a single user. Interested agents can sign up at xcelerator.triseptsolutions.com.
